The best wedding invitation video makers in India, compared honestly

There is no single best one. There is the best one for your budget, your deadline and how much of the work you want to do yourself. Here is the whole field, with prices from each maker's own site.

The short answer

Cheapest, and you do the work: Canva, Crafty Art or InVideo. Pick a template, type your names in, export an MP4. Free with a watermark, or a subscription from about ₹1,600 a year.

Cheapest done for you, from a template: WishNWed, Selfanimate or WedMeGood. Roughly ₹299 to ₹7,000 per video. The design is one other couples can also buy, with your names and dates in it.

The two of you drawn in: a caricature studio such as VideoGiri or The Great Indian Studio, or a freelancer, from about ₹600 to ₹15,000 and usually two to three days for a first draft.

The two of you drawn in, today: Wedyay. ₹1,499, about twenty minutes after a five-minute chat, with a scene for every ceremony. That is us; the rest of this page is about everyone.

Do-it-yourself editors: Canva, Crafty Art, InVideo

Canva has hundreds of Indian wedding invitation video templates. Canva Pro costs ₹4,000 a year in India and Pro Lite ₹1,590 a year. Everything is in your hands: the wording, the timings, the export settings. It is the right choice if you enjoy design and have an evening to spend on it. Your couple will be stock art or your photo, not an illustration of you.

Crafty Art is an Indian app with wedding templates in Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil and Telugu, and an AI caricature tool on paid plans. Pro is ₹1,999 a month or ₹3,999 a year; the free plan allows one export a day and its templates may carry a watermark.

InVideo is a general AI video editor with some Indian wedding templates, priced in dollars from $9 a month billed yearly. It is a strong editor, but not one built around Indian ceremonies.

Template makers that render it for you: WishNWed, Selfanimate, WedMeGood

WishNWed lets you preview a video free and pay from ₹299 per download, with templates up to about ₹1,399 and custom-made videos from ₹2,500 to ₹15,000. It renders in about a minute, with ceremony templates for Sikh, South Indian and other weddings. The preview is watermarked until you pay.

Selfanimate sells templates from ₹499 to ₹999, including caricature templates covering every function, rendered within minutes as an MP4, with a watermarked preview before you pay.

WedMeGood, better known as a vendor directory, sells pre-designed video invitations from ₹500 to ₹6,999 per template, delivered in about 72 working hours. Extra slides cost more, and the music and design cannot be changed.

What these share: fast and affordable, and the art is drawn once and sold to every couple who picks it.

Caricature studios and freelancers

VideoGiri draws caricatures from your photos, priced from ₹599 up to ₹35,000 depending on the design (one popular caricature video is ₹3,599 plus GST), delivered in about 48 working hours with one round of corrections. Extra languages are paid add-ons.

The Great Indian Studio makes custom video invitations and caricature e-cards for Marwari, Punjabi, South Indian, Bengali and other weddings, with a first preview in two to three working days and usually two rounds of edits. Prices are quoted, not published.

Freelancers on Instagram and Fiverr range from very cheap to very good. Quality depends entirely on who picks up the job, so ask for three past invitations in your tradition before you pay anything.

Wedyay

You answer about ten questions in a chat: your names, the dates, the venues, which ceremonies your family holds, how you met. Our art director illustrates the two of you from a photo, the artwork is drawn for your tradition, and the words are written from your answers. The film is ready in about twenty minutes.

The Wedding Invitation Video is ₹1,499: about a minute long, a scene for every ceremony with its date, time and venue, as a 1080×1920 MP4 sized for WhatsApp. The Living Invitation is ₹2,499: the film plus an invitation page that collects RSVPs per ceremony and takes edits after you have shared it.

Where we are not the right pick: if you want to design every frame yourself, use Canva. If your budget is under ₹1,000, a template from WishNWed or Selfanimate will do the job. If you want RSVPs and nothing else, einvit.in sells an RSVP page from ₹399.
